Popular Schoharie Eatery & Gift Shop Adding Stuyvesant Plaza Location
There has been a lot of change at Stuyvesant Plaza within the last year. TGI Friday's has closed and other shops have moved out. But other stores and eateries are moving in. A beloved Schoharie gift shop and restaurant will soon add another location inside Stuyvesant Plaza.
What Restaurant & Gift Shop Is Moving Into Stuyvesant Plaza?
The new store will be an offshoot of the popular Schoharie Apple Barrel Store + Cafe which features great food and unique gifts. It will be called the Apple Barrel Store + Pantre and will open soon.
The Apple Barrel Home + Pantre will be between BARE Blends and The Book House formerly Frank Adams Jewelers. It will feature various pantry items, kitchen and dining accessories, and home decor. The store will also have Apple Barrel Café to Go, offering soups, sauces, and pre-made meals. Additionally, the new location will host plant and craft and sip classes, along with other fun activities.
Joshua Loden-Bray, the Chief Operating Officer of Apple Barrel Group, LLC said,
Since many of our customers come from outside Schoharie County, particularly from Albany, Saratoga Springs, and Schenectady, expanding our business just made sense. Plus, Stuyvesant Plaza is a well-known destination in Albany that many of our customers already visit, making it a perfect fit.
The Apple Barrel Store + Pantre is set to open this summer in Stuyvesant Plaza.
