One of the area's best destinations for a cup of coffee and a bagel is getting ready to open another location later this summer.

Coffee shops, doughnut shops, and bagel joints are the lifeblood of the Capital Region morning commute. I mean literally, what would we do without that morning jolt of caffeine and breakfast on the go? The aroma of fresh bagels and ground coffee will soon be emanating out of a second location in Albany.

Uncommon Grounds, which already operates three Capital Region locations in Saratoga Springs, Clifton Park, and also one on Western Avenue near UAlbany is planning to open a 4th location later this summer according to the Times Union. Uncommon Grounds has been an Albany and Saratoga Springs favorite for years, and its Clifton Park location opened a few years ago.

Apparently, there is really high demand for their goodies in the Capital city because their second Albany location will only be less than a mile away from their existing Western Avenue location. The Times Union says the new spot will be opening on Stuyvesant Plaza, also on Western Avenue and plans are to operate in both locations. Let's be honest, we just can't get enough coffee and bagels right?
