Controversial TV News Star Spotted In Saratoga Springs [PHOTO]
The celebrity sightings in Saratoga Springs are starting early this year.
Usually, once we are deep into summer, we will have several celebrity sightings in the Spa City. Whether it's SPAC performers out and about in Saratoga (Remember when Luke Bryan was spotted at the Wilton Mall?) or celebrities taking in a day of horse racing at Saratoga Race Course, we get our fair share of summer celebrity sightings. But as we are just getting started with spring, a very high-profile English journalist and TV news star has been spending some time in downtown Saratoga and showing some love for the city and the Adelphi Hotel.
Why Is Piers Morgan In Saratoga Springs?
Love him or hate him, you are most likely familiar with Piers Morgan and his sometimes controversial television and journalism work. If you have not watched him at all or read his stories, you are most likely familiar with the name. Either way, the famous broadcast personality was staying in Saratoga Springs this week at the Adelphi Hotel. He posted the photo below of himself standing in front of the popular hotel on his Instagram early Wednesday morning. So why is he here?
To follow a story! In the Instagram post Piers says he is "...off to interview a serial killer in prison." Now I did a Google search trying to figure out who he may be interviewing, but my search was inconclusive. So we may have to wait to see who this interview is with.
Regardless of why he is here, Saratoga Springs definitely left a positive impression on Piers, calling the city 'charming' and the Adelphi Hotel 'terrific.' Piers is spot on with his description of both. Check out the photo and post below!
