PETA Wants You to Boycott ‘A Dog’s Purpose’ Because of This Terrible Video [Watch]

A video is going viral today of a dog being forced into a tub of turbulent water in an effort to film a scene for the new movie "A Dog's Purpose"

While many are really upset by the footage, the end result of the film is said to be a "great love letter" to dogs.

The film’s producer, Amblin Entertainment, and distributor, Universal Pictures, said in a joint statement that they are reviewing the footage, but they are confident that “great care and concern was shown” for the dog, a German Shepherd named Hercules.
