One of Capital Region’s Best Foodie Cities Is Getting A New Microbrewery
A Capital Region city that is known for its charm and great food is adding a new spot for brews.
When it comes to great spots to grab a meal or a beer, several Capital Region cities are top flight destinations.
Saratoga Springs is one of those destinations that comes to mind. There are plenty of great restaurants and watering holes to get a cold one. Not to mention, it is home to one of our favorite beer-sampling events - the Saratoga Beer Summit.
Ballston Spa is another great foodie destination with some of the area's best restaurants, and some great spots to grab a craft beer - including the just-opened Speckled Pig Brewing Company on Washington Street!
Now if southbound is the direction you want to go on the Thruway or via Amtrak, Hudson, New York is truly one of the region's prime foodie destinations. Known for its quaint downtown and great shops, the city is constantly receiving recognition far and wide as the state's most charming town and for its great eateries.
Hudson Is Getting A New Micro Brewery
I guess when it comes to being a great food and drink destination, it is a case of the rich getting richer.
