Here’s The Scoop On The Capital Region’s Newest Stewart’s
One of the best things about the Capital Region is that you’re never far from a Stewart’s Shops. Forgot to get milk from the grocery store? They’ve got you. Want the literal best peanut butter ice cream on planet Earth? Get it by the half-gallon. Need a great cup of coffee with a ludicrous flavor? You’re probably less than a mile away.
Even with the current level of convenience, Stewart’s is always opening new stores across the area. According to Stewart’s, it only takes 9-12 weeks to build a new Shop. Now we can celebrate a new Capital Region location just days away!
Ah, That New Stewart's Smell (Coffee)
On Thursday, October 20th, Stewart’s is opening their 24th location in Schenectady County. They’re waiting until Friday the 28th for the official grand opening, but you can stop by for gas, coffee, dairy, and whatever you’re looking for as of this Thursday.
At the ribbon cutting, Stewart’s will donate $2,000 to Schenectady High School. They’re also offering celebratory deals like 99 cent single-scoop ice cream cones, hot dogs, hot coffee, sodas, and refreshers.
Regular Gas, Premium Celebration
Those are great deals, but nothing beats this: all day on the 28th, the new location will be giving ten cents off every gallon of gas. Gas prices are thankfully lower than they were over the summer, but that’s still worth swinging by after work for – you just have to time it so you’re running on fumes when you get there.
The new Stewart’s is at 1010 McClellan Street in Schenectady. It’s one of seven new shops opening in a seven week span.
