The motorcyclist was accused of speeding up in an effort to get away from the trooper when he attempted to pull him over.

In the story from the Times Union, Nikkolaus V. McCarthy from Ballston Spa was being chased by more troopers when he was finally pulled over.

According to the New York State Police, McCarthy is already on probation in Saratoga County for almost the same charge. Because of this chase, McCarthy was charged with several violations, including Reckless Driving and Unlawfully Fleeing A Police Officer, and given several traffic tickets. He’s due back in court later this month.
