More Than 100 UFO Sightings in New York in 2018

You may read UFOs and already think I'm crazy. Apparently, though, I'm not the only believer and there have been more than 100 UFO sightings in New York State this past year. Believe it or not!

Of course, UFO means Unidentified Flying Object and doesn't mean that in each of these sightings there's a little alien from Mars looking to land on Earth. It does mean that somebody saw something and they didn't know what it was. It's still cool to think that in this state alone, there are so many things going on in the sky that we just don't know about.

According to the Times Union, every year the National UFO Reporting Center puts together a list of all of the UFO sightings. They said that they got rid of obvious hoaxes and still more than 100 were seen in New York.

One of the ones that interested me the most was from Burnt Hills. A student reported, "I was sitting in class and looked out of my class window and noticed a small egg-shaped object made of metal. It was floating above my school, but since I was taking a test I didn’t point it out to anyway. But since I had my phone in my pocket I tried to take a photo, but as I opened my camera, the object was gone."
