Missing Country Singer Craig Strickland Found Dead

Backroad Anthem singer Craig Strickland was found dead on Monday after being missing for one week.

Strickland's body was found on the shoreline of Kaw Lake in Oklahoma, according to Huffington Post, near where his boat had capsized. He had gone on a hunting trip with his friend, Chase Morland, who was found dead last week. A prayer vigil was held as authorities continued to look for Strickland.

Strickland's wife, Heather, has been continuously asking for prayers for her husband as the search continued. On Wednesday, she tweeted that Strickland was "safe with his Father in Heaven."
