I remember when Miranda Lambert's first single came out. Do you?

She was a third place finisher on the now defunct show Nashville Star, and her first single was a nice little song about looking back on your youth and that first crush. It was titled "Me and Charley Talking". Miranda Lambert has come a long way since then and is currently the hottest star in country music. She's also our headliner at WGNA Countryfest 2011, July 9th at the Altamont Fairgrounds and will have a star studded lineup playing in front of her including Joanna Smith, Brett Eldredge,Sunny Sweeney, Chris Cagle and Randy Houser. Tickets are just $35 and on sale at all Hannaford Supermarkets in the Capital Region and the Glens Falls area plus online here.

Let's take a look and listen at that first song from all those years ago. Next month Miranda will be wed to country Superstar Blake Shelton. The two have been together for 6 years now and are so in love that it's almost hard to believe. You've come a long way Miranda and we've enjoyed the ride with you on WGNA. Miranda recently won 4 ACM Awards, to go along with the 4 CMA Awards she won back in November.
