Man Arrested – Allegedly Broke Into Albany Area Businesses
A man from Albany has been arrested for allegedly breaking in to two businesses in East Greenbush.
The two businesses are both located on Columbia Turnpike.
The Asian Tea House and Labella Pizza, were broken into in the overnight hours on May 12, and the suspect was recently arraigned in East Greenbush Town Court . The suspect is 33-year-old John W. Whiteford. He was charged with Breaking And Entering.
According to a press release from The East Greenbush Police Department, he was remanded to the Albany County Jail to await further court proceedings, after his arraignment in East Greenbush Town Court.
It has not been disclosed why Whitefors allegedy rboke into the businesses. There also was no information whether anything was stolen from either of the businesses, or if anything was damaged in the buildings.
