Lots of New Jobs in Latham

While doing errands around Latham the other day I noticed quite a few "Now Hiring" signs around town.

Joe's Crab Shack has a big banner up, Home Depot is hiring, and now, that new shiny Walmart is ready to hire some friendly faces too!  Plus, Panda Express is coming, and Sonic!  Big business in Latham!

They're looking to hire about 85 associates, and both full and part-time positions are available. For those interested, there is a kiosk located inside the Walmart at Latham Farms.

Applications at the kiosk will be accepted seven days a week from 7a.m. until 12 p.m. midnight. You can also apply online at http://careers.walmart.com/

Any qualified veteran who has been honorable discharged in the last 12 months is also qualified for a position. Officials say most of the new employees will begin work in May.

So put some pants on and get over there!  Gotta love new jobs!
