Another local film is putting out a casting call for their lead, female role. “How I Live Now”  is based on the best selling novel by Meg Rosoff-- a best selling young adult novel.  OMG, right?!?!

The casting call is seeking a local teenage girl with no previous acting experience, necessarily.  Those that want to tryout must be Caucasian and between the ages of 14 and 19.  The casting call will be held this Sunday, with sign-in from noon to 2, but tryouts are anticipated to take the majority of the afternoon.

Tryouts will be held at the same Erie Bouldevard location where "A Place Beyond the Pines" held their tryouts -- 1473 Erie Blvd., Schenectady (Ellis Hospital School of Nursing).  Interested teenage girls should bring a photo or publicity shot with them to their tryout as well as a resume with their name, date of birth, address and contact information.

According to the Times Union, the film will be shot in England next summer.  Oh, if I only I were young again.  What a tremendous opportunity!  I would highly recommend any girl that fits the above criteria to take a shot at trying out.  You never know, right?
