Little Leaguer Stands 5’2″, 220 And Is An American Treasure (Pics and Video)

How much do I love watching the Little League World Series on ESPN?  Tons! In fact, I've always wanted to make a pilgrimage to Williamsport, PA to watch these ballers go at it. This year is no exception, in fact, this makes me want to attend the games even more.  Why? Let me introduce you to 12 year Jeffrey "BOOG" Powell.

He hustles, he scraps, he's lighthearted, he's adorable and he's probably on the phone making arrangements with his agent now to take over the world! I'm not sure how well his Tennessee team is going to do in the Southeast regionals, but if this kid is on TV and his team is playing, you know America is going to be watching and rooting.  I don't know if I could even root against this kid even if he was facing a local team of ours. Truth be told,  I would want our local team to win, but I would root for Boog to smash big fly after big fly.  All hail mini Babe Ruth;  Boog Powell.
