A few "beloved" and "iconic" New York businesses have closed down.

Many New York residents are sad some of their favorite restaurants have closed for good.

Combined, these businesses have been serving customers for almost 300 years.

Forlini’s a "beloved" Italian restaurant on Baxter St in New York City closed for good last weekend. Forlini’s opened up 79 years ago.

A White Castle that opened up 86 years ago in Queens has closed. The location on Northern Boulevard has been family-owned since opening in 1935.

The popular Japanese-style cocktail bar closed its original location on March 31. Grub Street calls Angel’s Share an "Iconic New York City cocktail bar." It opened in 1993. Google states Angel’s Share offers "fancy cocktails in a speakeasy setting."

Sprint Sports opened on Broadway, between 93rd and 94th Streets in 1986. While a closing date hasn't been announced, the owner believes it will happen before the end of May. Owner Dany Ghatan says inflation and pandemic-related issues made it easier for him to decide it was time for him to retire.
