New York State Police Seek Your Help, Do You Know This Person?

The New York State Police are seeking your help identifying an individual that is suspected of theft in the Capital Region. Take a look at the pictures below. It will be difficult to get facial recognition due to the mask but perhaps the clothes and build are familiar.

On Tuesday October 3, 2023, according to a post on the New York State Police Facebook page, an individual attempted to burglarize Frank's Gun & Tackle Shop on NY-30 in Fulton County, NY.

New York State Police out of Mayfield, NY are investigating this crime where an individual allegedly attempted to steal from Frank's Gun & Tackle Shop before fleeing the scene in an older model black or dark colored small sedan.

What was this individual attempting to get away with? Frank's Gun & Tackle Shop carries everything from guns to ammunition, knives, archery supplies and much more. Perhaps this suspect was after cash.

Burglary in the 3rd Degree, as an example, is a Class D Felony. According to E. Stewart, Jones, Hacker Murphy Law Offices in New York State, Burglary in the Third Degree is the charge when the defendant knowingly enters or remains unlawfully in a building with intent to commit a crime.

If convicted a suspect could be sentenced to up to 25 years in New York State Prison.
