The search for the best looking cruiser in the Nation is underway with voting opportunities available until Monday July 31, 2023 at 12 noon. According to the New York State Police Facebook page, The contest began as a friendly competition between state agencies as a fun way to allow our state’s community members to support and interact with law enforcement in a positive manner.

Last year's winner was Kentucky with 12 other vehicles as runners up. All 13 finalists make it into the “America’s Best Looking Trooper Cruiser” Calendar (13 month calendar). All of the net proceeds goes directly towards the AAST Foundation which provides post-secondary financial scholarships to eligible dependents of trooper members across the county.
