If you have a favorite craft beer or cider and wish you could send it out to others now you can!

There is no mistake that we have some absolutely amazing breweries and distilleries here in the Capital Region. The only bad thing about them was that if you wanted to get them shipped to you or send to others you couldn't get that done - until now.

Governor Kathy Hochul has just signed new legislation that will allow brewers from around New York to send their delicious beverages directly to the consumer.

I signed landmark legislation to allow New York’s craft beverage producers to ship directly to consumers. From cider to spirits, New York's producers are second-to-none, and now, more consumers will be able to purchase these incredible products! - Gov Hochul

While many of our favorite craft beers and ciders can be found at local beverage centers and grocery stores, this new bill will allow for the smaller brewers and distillers who don't have distribution to get their products right to their customers.

This is huge because as CNY Central reports, now those who manufacture ciders and seltzers will now get to enjoy the same benefits that wine makers have enjoyed in New York. Having the proper means to send these products out will also help them make sure it's not being sent to anyone who is underage.

HUGE win for this industry and a great way to get some of these amazing beers, ciders, and spirits in front of the rest of the world.
