BREAKING, Truck Accident On New York’s I-90 Has Traffic Delayed At Least 2 Miles
ADVISORY from the New York State Police! If you are traveling, or planning to travel, I-90 in Monroe County this afternoon you might experience delays due to a truck accident. Troopers and response personnel are on the scene and this is the latest.
According to a social media post on the New York State Police X Page, there is a travel advisory in Monroe County on I-90 eastbound between exit 46 in Corning, NY and and exit 45 in Victor, NY.
At this time the right lane is blocked due to a tractor trailer rollover with minor injuries. The trailers are currently hanging over the overpass to Mendon Center Road below. Current delays extend 2 miles.
As you approach any roadside activity involving a broken down vehicle, accident, tow truck, emergency response vehicles, etc. keep New York's "Move Over Law" in mind.
According to New York State law, drivers must use due care, reduce speed, and when possible move from the lane when approaching flashing emergency lights, including law enforcement officers, emergency workers, tow and service operators, and other maintenance workers who are stopped along roadways.
