Here's a shocking sports headline: the Savannah Bananas baseball team has done something funny, and the video of their act has gone "viral" on social media.

That seems to happen often for the Bananas, and it happened again during their recent trip to Upstate New York.

The Bananas took their Banana Ball World Tour up to Sahlen Field in Buffalo, home of the Buffalo Bisons, the Triple-A affiliate of the Toronto Blue Jays. As one would expect, Savannah put on a show for Buffalo sports fans during each of the three games that were played in Western New York.

On Saturday night, the Bananas took their entertainment to a new level. Buffalo Bills' beat reporter (and friend of the station) Matt Parrino captured the moment, and shared this hilarious clip on his X account:

Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, and this was certainly a great way to acknowledge the loyal and passionate fans that make up Bills Mafia.

Unfortunately, this past weekend was the last chance for New York baseball fans to catch the Bananas in the Empire State in 2024. The team will play a game at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia in September, but that game has already been sold out.
