You don't have to be a musician or an Elvis fan to get chills standing in this room.  "What room?".  Let me show you

This is the iconic Studio B in Nashville on Music Row.  So many country stars have recorded monster hits here, including Charlie Pride,, Waylon Jennings, and Roy Orbison.  Roy recorded "Cryin'" in that room!

But probably the most recognized voice in the room was that of the King himself.  Now Elvis, according to the tour guide, had insomnia.  He used to come in at nite, bring in burgers and fries for everyone in the room and record until the wee hours of the morning.

Now see the blue "X" on the floor in this picture?

ELVIS STOOD THERE TO RECORD HIS VOCALS, FOR GOD SAKES!!!!   He recorded "Are You Lonesome Tonite" right in that spot!   In the corner was the piano that Elvis actually wanted to move to Graceland.  Producer Chet Atkins told him "not on your life".

And the old school equipment there?  So fascinating (although only producer Dave Scriven, Lou Roberts and I would drool over that stuff)

So many more stories from within those 4 walls and so little time.  If you want more information, you can go to this website.
