Hillary Scott’s Wedding Held Near Albany & More in Casey’s Taste of Country

So the big news after this weekend was the wedding of Lady Antebellum’s Hillary Scott and Chris Tyrrell.  The two got married Saturday at the Appel Inn in Altamont, just before sunset.  Hillary posted a video on the band’s site Sunday to announce the big news while US Weekly was one of the first to report the story.

Kelly Clarkson performed on NBC’s Saturday Night Livethis past weekend.  But before leaving the set, she gave the show’s producers some advice.  Kelly told them they needed to have Blake Shelton has their next host.  She even tweeted about the idea by saying, “We should rally for that!  He’d be hilarious!”  Kelly was quick to add that having the entire cast of “The Voice” would probably be great, too.

Speaking of “The Voice” and Kelly Clarkson, she is expected to mentor on next season of the show along with Miranda Lambert, Lionel Richie and Jewel.  Blake, of course, will have his wife and Kelly.  Christina will have Jewel and Lionel as her team’s mentors.  Adam Levine is having Alanis Morissette and Robin Thicke while Cee Lo Green will be joined by Babyface and Ne-Yo. 

The boys of Rascal Flatts sang the National Anthem before the Denver Broncos and Pittsburgh Steelers game yesterday.  Tim Tebow, quarterback for the Broncs, took some time before the game to throw the ball around with Gary, Jay and Joe Don.  Tebow told the New York Post, Rascal Flatts is his favorite band. 

Carrie Underwood has scheduled three photo shoots for her upcoming album.  According to reports from MJ’s Big Blog, she will be shooting a video for her first single at the end of this month.  She also wrote to her fan club that the video for the album’s second single will be shot shortly after the first one so its ready to go when the song is released to radio.
