There is a sequel to a popular horror comedy that is being filmed in Vermont. Beetlejuice 2 filming is in full swing but the crew is without a few of their important movie props. The Vermont State Police needs your help to recover them.

Where Is Beetlejuice 2 Being Filmed?

The original Beetlejuice movie was filmed in the same location that the sequel is being filmed. It is in East Corinth, Vermont. The movie, however, is set in Winter Haven, Connecticut. Here are some recent photos of the movie set.

What Was Stolen From The Set & What Are The Details of The Theft?

The Vermont State Police joked on their Facebook page that they said the name of the stolen items three times but they didn't come back. Thieves jacked this one hundred-fifty-pound set piece and a lamppost topped with a decorative pumpkin.

The Vermont State Police said the statue was stolen between 5 pm, Thursday, July 13th, and 11 am, Monday, July 17th.

The thieves bundled the lamppost into the back of an older-model GMC pickup truck just after midnight Friday, July 14th. If you have any information, call the St. Johnsbury Barracks at 802-748-3111.

The Sequel: Beetlejuice 2

In the sequel, Michael Keaton will be reprising his role as Beetlejuice who is a "bio-exorcist". The new movie will feature Jenna Ortega who starred in "Wednesday". Beetlejuice 2 is scheduled to be released in 2024.
