All you have to do is snap some pictures with a phone of your state’s great outdoors. In return, you’ll get $1,000, and WhistleOut will even provide the smartphone and reimburse you for travel expenses.

According to WhistleOut, you will be responsible for:

Planning a trip to a scenic outdoor destination in your state, you will be reimbursed up to $500 for travel expenses.
Choosing a smartphone priced up to $1,000. You can even use the WhistleOut phone finder to help you pick the right device. We’ll purchase it and send it to you.
Taking captivating photos of your state’s natural beauty using your new phone.
Sharing your pictures on social media and letting the world know how awesome your state is.

In addition to the travel expense reimbursement and new smartphone, they'll pay the winning applicant $1,000.

Professional photography skills are not required. As long as you can snap a picture on a smartphone, you can learn as you go!

We are primarily looking for the adventurous at heart—the type of person who’d rather be climbing a mountain than bingeing the latest Netflix hit (don’t worry, we won’t judge you if you still watch that show).
