This is the time of year when we could have a 90 degree day one day, followed by a day with 30 degrees and snow. (I’m just kidding about the snow.)

It’s also the time of year when most of us still have the outdoor furniture set up in the yard, and air conditioners in the windows. Most of the plants are still in good shape. We actually had a pretty nice day on Sunday, September 15, 2013, but here comes the change.

From our friends at News 10 ABC and The National Weather Service, they have let us know that most of the Albany area will have a Frost Advisory tonight, which will expire on Tuesday, September 17, 2013 at 8:00 a.m. For some of our friends outside of the Albany area, in places like Fulton, Warren and Hamilton Counties, you have a Freeze Warning until 9:00 a.m. also on Tuesday. I know that some parts of our area already had these weather items.

I guess that Autumn is really here, even though the first day isn’t until Sunday, September 22, 2013. For me, there is one thing that I have to look forward to - Not much longer to mow the lawn. You can also check the weather with a link on WGNA.com.

Who will be the first to turn the heat on in your home? For me, not yet.
