Florida Georgia Line, Smooth Tourmates Shoot Fun Preview of What’s to Come
Ever wanted to hear Nelly perform Florida Georgia Line's "Cruise" remix live? Or watch Nick Carter and the rest of the Backstreet Boys croon with FGL on "God, Your Mama and Me?" That dream is about to become a reality — and so much more.
As part of their Smooth Tour with Nelly and Chris Lane, the Backstreet Boys will also join Florida Georgia Line for shows in Boston, Minneapolis and Chicago. The three new dates include a July 7 show at Boston’s Fenway Park, a July 29 gig at Minneapolis’ Target Field and an Aug. 12 stop at Chicago’s Wrigley Field.
The group of guys are planning ahead to make it a good time, and Florida Georgia Line tickets are sure to go fast for this tour. The country duo just released a promo video for the shows on their Twitter feed, stating, "This isn’t gonna be any fun at all…"
In the video, the nine musicians poke fun at each other and their budding friendships, awarding each other title's such as best dancer, "smoothest guy on this tour" and "most likely to lose their shirt first."
Nelly, self-proclaimed "smoothest guy on this tour," is uber comfortable in the clip, briefly talking about "pimp juice" and offering to help (best dancer) Chris Lane with his relationship problems.
FGL's Tyler Hubbard, after being unanimously voted "most likely to lose their shirt first," says, "I might as well just take it off right now," while his bandmate Brian Kelley confirms this mixed genre tour is "gonna be a party."
The FGL, Nelly, BSB and Chris Lane package will undoubtedly be some of the hottest tour tickets of 2017.
