It's here! The day you've been waiting for all year! Countryfest 2014!

We can't wait to see you all at the Schaghticoke Fairgrounds Saturday at 11 a.m. But before you throw on your cowboy hat and head out the door, we want to make sure you're armed with as much info as possible.

And so we bring you 5 Things You Need to Know About Countryfest!

(Hint: the first one is the most important!)

1. You Need to Know the Official Countryfest Hashtag

It's #WGNACountryfest and you should be using it as often as possible on Twitter and Instagram to get in on the Countryfest social media action! Your Tweets about how excited you are before the show; what you're wearing; what crowd life is like and pics of the artists on the stage may make it on to wgna.com in a special post we're putting together.

And hey, while you're at it, make sure you're following @wgna1077 on Instagram and @WGNAFM on Twitter. Remember, #WGNACountryfest!

2. You Need to Know About What Time Gates Open, Parking & More

Good news! We have all that info together for you in one place. Where, you ask? In our official Countryfest FAQ! Click here to see it.

3. You Need to Know When the Artists Are Performing

Even though we have this info in our FAQ too, we'll break it down for you right here:

The schedule of performances is as follows:

  • Local Band: 11:40 a.m.
  • Dan + Shay: 12:45 p.m.
  • John Michael Montgomery: 1:25 p.m.
  • Scotty McCreery: 3 p.m.
  • Montgomery Gentry: 4:40 p.m.
  • Jake Owen: 6:30 p.m.

4. You Need to Know What to Wear to Countryfest

The forecast for Saturday is calling for 87 degrees and sunny, so make sure you wear sunblock, first and foremost. A sunny day means you should wear cool, light clothing, so make sure you're dressed comfortably so that you can sing, dance and have a good time! If you're really stumped, you can check out our fashion guide here.

5. You Need to Know Where to See Your Photos After Countryfest is Over

Well, right here of course! Keep coming back to WGNA.com, as we'll be updating the site throughout the day with your photos and videos, as well as exclusive shots of the stars.

There's still time to read up on all the artists and see photos from last year's Countryfest. For more, click the link below.
