Today we had out annual radiothon for the Center For Disabilities services. I think it went pretty good this morning and we will continue on the radio until 7:00 pm tonight. If you can make a donation it would be one of the best things you will do all year. It truly is a local treasure and we are all lucky to have them here in Upstate N.Y.

Shocker, Ricky Gervais was not on his best behavior as the Golden Globes host. Fortunately for the other stars in the audience, he wasn’t as bad as he could have been. That didn’t seem to matter to Madonna when it came time for her to take the stage.

I have been impressed with SNL lately. This week was really good as well. Host Daniel Radcliffe aka Harry Potter pulled out all the stops and was really funny. He did everything from a "Harry Potter" sketch to being Casey Anthony's dog on "Weekend Update"...

I swear, you can't go through even one day without reading about some new fangled invention.  You won't believe what you are about to look at, and I mean that LITERALLY!

NASCAR driver Carl Edwards had to settle for second place in the Sprint Cup Series championship in 2011 and now will start the new year off still somewhat in second place as he serves as a second banana to Kelly Ripa this Tuesday on "Live! With Kelly."

NBC has officially announced the cast of the next "Celebrity Apprentice". We heard 16 of the 18 contestants about three months ago from realityblurred.com. The two they didn't have are "Real Housewives of New Jersey" star Teresa Giudice and Vitoria Gotti, who's only famous because she's the daughter of mobster John Gotti.

The Tim Tebow phenomenon is getting out of control. I respect the man for living up to his moral code and being a leader on and off the field and in no way blame him for the craziness surrounding him. However I am thinking of making him this years Brett Favre. Meaning I cringe every time I hear his name. That being said I really love this skit Saturday Night Live.

Tim Conway's name came up in the birthdays today, and Casey said, I have no idea who that is. Now, I can understand how someone under 30 may not know who Tim Conway is, but that doesn't make it any less of a travesty. This man was one of my comic idols when I was growing up, I watched "The Carol Burnett Show" just to see him.

It's about time, folks.  Now don't start thinking this is prejudice or protectionism or all that crap.  This is about survival right now, and I personally stand up and applaud ABC for this idea-a national challenge for everyone to at least buy SOMETHING that wasn't produced in China! (I know it's gonna be tough, but we have to try!)

Jimmy Fallon had to issue a apology to Michele Bachmann for something his band did. Bachmann was a guest, and when she walked out and his house band THE ROOTS played a 1985 Fishbone song called "Lyin' Ass ".  They didn't sing any of the lyrics but it was all over the Internet what the song was and how insulting it was all this week...

This is one of the hardest things I think I've ever tried to do. There are so many many good songs to choose from. Some of them I just love because they take me back to being a kid, others I find funny and creative and still others are just plain fun to sing.  I'm sure you will have favorites that I didn't list here and to be honest, I probably could have argued with myself until Christmas day try
