For as long as i can remember Bob Seger's "Like A Rock" has been the song of Chevy trucks. The second I hear it I see the Chevy bow tie in my head. I was surprised to say the least when i found out there's a new song for the Silverado and it's "Strong".

Jana Kramer erupted on the Country music scene about a year ago with "Why Ya Wanna". Since then she's begun dating Brantley Gilbert and now she has a new video out. "I Hope It Rains" is certainly worth watching!

This Paula Deen controversy has literally caused me mental anguish.  I see that Kevin Richards has also done a poll on the subject, so I'm going to jump into the fray as well, but from a different angle.   I'll give you my two cents, and then would love to hear yours.

Paula Deen has currently been in the spotlight for apparently using the 'N word' 30 years ago. Now, her empire begins to crumble with big retailers and business partners pulling out and 'firing' the celebrity chef.

As a somewhat responsible parent I make it a point to know what my daughter is watching. This has become a bit of an issue since now she likes a batch of shows that I just can't stand.

One of my favorite guilty pleasures of Summer is "Big Brother" on CBS. I don't know what it is but I love that show. All the drama starts Wednesday the 26th.
