Brad Paisley has a new TV special coming up, aptly titled Brad Paisley Thinks He's Special. He is a very special person, but unfortunately, he's no match for none other than his longtime CMAs cohost Carrie Underwood when it comes to the sport of off-roading.

In a video Underwood and Paisley both shared to Instagram, the two are shown on a wild mudding excursion with a cackling Underwood at the wheel. It's a pretty bouncy ride that has Paisley looking a bit green. "You paid off this truck, right?" Underwood asks, with another wicked laugh.

“I had this idea for Carrie where I thought I’d take her out of her comfort zone," Paisley informed Country Countdown USA's Lon Helton. "My plan was to take her out in a truck to do some mudding. But that’s not what happened.

"She took over the wheel, and she scared the living heck out of me," Paisley added. "I’ve never seen the redneck side of her to this degree. There’s a lot of screaming, and it’s not her. Let’s just say I’m not acting in this segment."

As for Underwood, she herself blithely noted, "Now you know why @mfisher1212 won’t let me drive his truck!" Yes, Mike Fisher, aka Underwood's perhaps not better but certainly more cautious half, we get it!

Brad Paisley Thinks He's Special airs on Tuesday (Dec. 3) on ABC at 8PM ET. Shot at Nashville’s War Memorial Auditorium, the special will showcase Paisley's "signature humor, unexpected surprises, heartfelt field pieces and rousing musical performances," according to a press release. Guests include Kelsea Ballerini, Hootie & the Blowfish, the Jonas Brothers, The Bachelor host Chris Harrison, Peyton Manning, Tim McGraw, Darius Rucker, Underwood and more.
