Capital Region Places Among Best To Raise A Family

Several Capital Region places have been ranked among the best to raise a family in Upstate New York.

I think we can all agree, the Capital Region is a pretty awesome place to start and raise a family. We have so many great communities, as well as school districts to choose where to live. And now a New York Upstate story is shining a light on some of those great spots raise kids.

Lending Tree recently ranked their top 100 places in New York to raise a family, and NYUP filtered those down to the 33 best in Upstate New York. 3 Capital Region places made this list: Colonie at #4, Scotia at #6 and Saratoga Springs at #28. Lending Tree says their rankings are based on data points like "...housing prices, the quality of the school system and available job opportunities."
