Capital Region Lifeguards Wanted! Spend Your Summer by the Lake or Pool

Are you or someone in your family looking for a summer job? How about working for the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation, and Historic Preservation? They are looking to fill lifeguard positions throughout the beautiful Capital Region and beyond.

Where are Lifeguards Needed?

There are many different bodies of water that need to staff qualified lifeguards for the summer season. They include two in the Saratoga Spa State Park. The Victoria Pool and the Peerless Pool need to hire lifeguards.

They are also looking to fill beach lifeguard positions. They are hiring at Grafton Lakes State Park and Moreau Lake State Parks for lake lifeguards.

What are the Requirements?

You must be at least fifteen years old or older. All persons applying for the lifeguard positions much meet eligibility requirements which include completing training and instruction. There are many lifeguard certifications that you must complete including CPR training. To see a list of all of the requirements click HERE.
