Brooke Eden is currently promoting her song "Daddy's Money," but she's also been working with other artists. Granger Smith asked the vocalist to join him for a tune on his new Remington album, and when Eden stopped by Taste of Country Nights, she couldn't help but rave about the track.

Eden and Smith are labelmates on Broken Bow Records, but they're also teammates in a way. While working on his debut major label album, Smith needed a duet companion. He thought of Eden and called her up to join him for a track called "Crazy as Me."

“He’s a part of my label group, BBR, and when he asked me to be on a song without even blinking an eye I said, ‘Yes, please,’" she sweetly explains. "He sent me the song and of course it was just this amazing country song that I had to be on. I loved it.”

Eden has worked with a number of artists in addition to Smith, but none of her relationships go back as far as her friendship with Cassadee Pope.

“I know Cassadee Pope really, really well. We actually grew up taking voice lessons together when we were nine years old. We went to high school together and it was awesome. It’s awesome now because when you grow up around somebody and our families they’re best friends. Her mom and my mom are besties," the singer dishes.

Check out Eden's duet with Smith on Remington, which is now on iTunes, or pick up a copy wherever music is sold. While you're at it, listen to Eden's single, "Daddy's Money" and rate the track!

Sam Alex is the host of Taste of Country Nights radio, a syndicated night show which airs on more than 60 Townsquare Media Group stations nationwide.
