Breaking News – SWAT Teams Surrounding Albany Building [UPDATE]

Earlier today, SWAT Teams surrounded a building at 271 Second Street in Albany.

An earlier report from our friends at WNYT mentioned that there were also a number of streets closed off in the area including Lexington Avenue and First Street.

Update at 3:30 p.m.  - One man is now in Albany Medical Center, and being treated for numerous gunshot wounds. There is no report on who the victim is or his condition.

About 11:30 a.m., there was a second incident with another shot fired in the area on Judson Street. That was heard by Albany Police. They saw the SUV with a male with a shotgun, and followed him with a short police chase to Lincoln Avenue, where they made some arrests.

Both situations are being investigated and police aren't sure if they're both related.
