Former President Bill Clinton is coming to Albany and will be speaking at an economic conference on Tuesday, September 27th. The conference will be held at the Empire State Plaza.  The last time Clinton was in Albany was back in March,  when he spoke to students at the University of Albany.  That visit yielded $200,000 for Clinton.

This visit won't cost anything.  Clinton is visiting as a favor to Governor Cuomo.  He is appearing at a convention of 10 regional economic development councils created by the governor.  The councils are burdened with coming up with plans in competition for $200 million in state funding.

Members of the public can get tickets by being members of an online lottery.  The lottery can be found right here.  The Capital District Business Review was the first to announce Clinton's visit to the Capital Region.

Did you get a chance to see Clinton last time he was in town?  Do you think you'd like to see him this time around?  I think I would.
