Another Great Albany Show: Alison Krauss Is Coming To The Palace

She pretty much has the perfect voice, and you can see Alison Krauss  at the Palace Theatre.

Listening to Alison Krauss sing may be one of the sweetest sounds known to mankind. You can see her vocal perfection at the Palace Theatre Saturday, May 2.

From all of her great albums to her signature version of 'When You Say Nothing At All' to singing with Brad Paisley on 'Whiskey Lullaby' to those amazing albums with Robert Plant, Alison has simply made great music on her own and been a part of so many great collaborations. I think if you envisioned the perfect singing voice, it would be Alison's.

While it is a little difficult to put into words what makes her so great, but I think effortless is one word that comes to mind. Singing just seems to come so naturally to her, and she always sounds so authentic and pure for that reason. I think Kacey Murgraves has a similar sound - like Alison, she just sounds like she was born to sing. And I can listen to either for hours on end.
