All Saints Catholic Academy’s Equal Rights Rap – Reading Writing and Rhyming [VIDEO]

My 4th appearance at this great little school, and it never disappoints - it's the All Saints Catholic Academy in Albany.  Mrs. Reilly and Mrs. Grimmick kindly allowed me to come in and create a song with these very creative 5th graders.  (And actually, I didn't do much - they handled it very well on their own, thank you very much.

Take a listen to their creation - written and recorded in less than an hour.  This was written right after Martin Luther King Day.  I wish we could have aired this earlier, but hey, there's never a wrong time or day to reinforce the idea that "equal rights and respect for others" is something that should be in our hearts and minds ALWAYS!   Here is their video with lyrics to follow.
