After 50 yrs Popular Italian Restaurant Moving Out of Albany
A popular Italian restaurant that has been on Central Avenue in Albany for fifty years has decided to relocate. This will allow the restaurant to expand to almost double in size as the same family who started it continues to grow.

It's a family affair for Maria Romeo who owns and runs Caffe Italia with her three siblings. They knew they needed more space to continue to serve great Italian food to their customers.
Where is Caffe Italia Ristorante Moving To?
A space inside the Hamilton Square Plaza is home to Tesoro's Italian Restaurant. The official address is 2080 Western Avenue in Guilderland. According to the Times Union, longtime owners Raffaele and Michele Sainato will be retiring and closing the restaurant on June 30th.
Caffe Italia Ristorante is a Family Affair
Owner Maria Romero is finalizing everything but they hope to open in late fall or early 2024. Maria runs the restaurant with her brother Michael in the front of the house, Her other brother Paul is the executive chef of Caffe Italia and her sister Suzanne runs the business side of the restaurant.
Caffe Italia will remain open until the new location in Guilderland is ready to go.
