Here's where to celebrate America this 4th of July.

When it comes to celebrating our nation's birthday nothing beats the awe-inspiring sight of 'the rockets red glare' in real-time. And the tradition of 4th of July Fireworks goes all the way back to our nation's first birthday.

According to History.com, on July 4th, 1777 in Philadelphia ships fired a 13-gun salute and fireworks were also set off in Boston, 'setting off' the tradition of lighting up the 4th of July night sky. The 4th eventually became a federal holiday in 1870, which eventually led to the summer tradition of wrapping time together with family and friends as a nother way to to celebrate our nation's independence.
