Your Holiday Spirit Could Start Saturday With ‘Rock For Tots NY’

On Saturday [November 22] between 3:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m., you could make a difference in a child’s Christmas.

It’s the annual event ‘Rock For Tots NY’ at Chrome Food And Spirits [formerly Costanzo’s Riverside Restaurant], 405 Hudson River Road in Waterford. ‘Rock For Tots NY’ has been an annual event since 1999. I was there last year and the year before, cohosting all of the fun with my friend Marshall Dillon. It’s a great time for a great cause. All kinds of live music performed by several Albany area singers and bands, an amazing buffet with plenty of great food, and drinks [you must be at least 21-years-old to attend].

In addition to the entertainment and food, they have raffles and prize give aways, and one of those prizes is a guitar signed by the artists that performed at WGNA’s Countryfest 2014.

Admission to ‘Rock For Tots NY’ is a $10 dollar donation and a new unwrapped toy. This event benefits the United States Marine Corps' Toys For Tots campaign in upstate New York.

My friend Andy Waters, the coordinator of ‘Rock For Tots NY’, is always hoping for a big turn out with plenty of toys for the kids, and as he says - “Every Child Deserves A Christmas”.
