Rock For Tots N.Y. – For The Kids [Photos]

On Saturday, November 23, I had the pleasure to be one of the emcees for the Rock For Tots N.Y. program at Michael’s Banquet House in Cohoes.

The ‘cover charge’ was $10 and a new unwrapped toy with proceeds (and toys) going to Toys For Tots.

I had the pleasure of emceeing the event with our old buddy, Marshall Dillon. We had some really good local bands that took the stage - Flame, Prolonged Exposure, Crossfire, Lady Strange and Wicked. Cryin Out Loud - the GNA house band, was the last band to hit the stage.

There was a great group of people who attended, partied and the most important part, donated to this great cause. Andy Waters is the guy who puts this together every year and as he has on the Rock For Tots N.Y. website, “every child deserves a Christmas.”

A great big thank you to everyone that joined us. I took some pictures of the event, and one thing that amazed me as you will see, were the amount of toys that were donated by everyone. Several tables full of toys.
