Weather Looks 'Souper' for one of Saratoga's Most Popular Events

There's no arguing that winter in Upstate NY can be as beautiful, picturesque, and as much fun as any of the four seasons but by the time February rolls around - and cabin fever sets in - it's only natural to start dreaming of warmer weather and longer days.

One way to break up the monotony of the winter, and keep our bellies full and warm, is with an annual event held each year in Saratoga Springs known as "Chowderfest" and the weather for it this weekend looks pretty, well...souper.

Chowderfest Returns to Saratoga County

For a quarter century, this annual event has become a highly anticipated tradition in our area, and this year, event planners are pulling out all the stops. The weather appears to be cooperating as well, as forecasters are calling for some clouds throughout the day, but mild temps are expected to reach the 50s on Saturday afternoon in the Spa City.

Here's what else you'll need to know:

Chowderfest is back in Saratoga for its 26th year on Saturday, February 10th, 2024 from 11 am to 4 pm.
According to Discover Saratoga, more than 80 of Saratoga County's top restaurants and caterers will be serving up delicious 4 oz servings of their finest chowders - all for $2.
