Type Right-Write Wrong

I just learned that writing in cursive may be a thing of the past. It may become extinct.

Apparently, it’s even been dropped from something called the Common Core State. 40 states use this as a curriculum standard. What’s taken it’s place is typing. For obvious reasons this is more practical.

When we were kids, I think that most of us couldn’t wait to learn how to write in cursive. The pains taking effort to try to make it ledge-able. Capital or small letters. Oh wait, I mean upper case or lower case.

So for those of us who still use cursive at least once in awhile, it may someday be considered an art form. Wow-I never thought I’d be considered an artist. Although the way I write should probably never be framed as a picture.
