Troy Police Working to Make City Safer

After some dangerous and scary incidents that recently happened in Troy, the Troy Police Department has stepped up and added more patrols, especially where most of the major problems happened.

In the story from CBS 6 Albany, many people in the downtown area are very happy that there are more police in the area. Businesses like Manory’s Restaurant and Flying Chicken, which are located in the area of the recent problems, welcome the police presence.

One of the most recent incidents include someone that allegedly started shooting on Fourth Street outside of a pizza restaurant. Police are still looking for the shooter(s).
