The Results Are In For Capital Region’s Scariest Halloween Haunt

Thousands voted in our poll to find the Capital Region's Scariest Halloween Haunt, but only one area alarming attraction made it out alive!

We pitted 5 area scary Halloween haunts against each other to see which was the best;  Zombie Zip Line, Double M Haunted Hayrides, Night Terrors, Field of Horrors, and Nightmares at Liberty Ridge Farms and you voted based upon this criteria:  Do the actors stay committed to the haunt or are they just going through the motions?  Were the special effects and production value crisp and professionally executed or clunky and amateurish? Was it interactive and engaging or was it like walking/riding through a cheesy wax museum?  Was it scary?  And finally, was it fun?

After 1600 votes, the winner in a landslide with over 70% of the votes: Field Of Horrors in Troy.

Rounding out the survey was Nightmares at Liberty Ridge in second followed by Double M, Night Terrors and Zombie Zip Line.
