The Love Boat Sold For Scrap

Getty Images

It has been reported that one of televisions most famous vehicles is about to meet it’s demise. It is with a sad heart that I inform you “The Love Boat” has been sold for scrap.

The “Pacific Princess” which was the official “Love Boat” for 10 seasons starting in 1977 was sold for $3.3 million to a Turkish demolition company. A show that gave us Captain Stubbing, Issac the bartender and Gopher is now only alive in re-runs. Sad day for old school TV fans.
