Two Saratoga County towns have made the finals for a theme song to be created on next week's Your Town Thursday. Who will it be now? Cast your vote!
The singers and live musicians continue to be restless over this proposed ruling in Albany to shut the volume off in Albany bars. Now one man sounds off by slipping his lyrics to me to sing on the air. Song below
You must know the song by now. "Call Me Maybe" has been sung, resung and parodied millions of times already on YouTube. I thought I would take a shot at it and do it up "redneck country style"
It was a fairly tight race between Ballston Spa and Perth. Looks like the Spa wins the right to have a theme song written for them (Don't worry, Perth. I'll get to you next week)
Don't get me wrong. It would be Un-American to totally diss the Olympics. I'm all for getting behind our teams over there. That's right, folks. It's an all points bulletin. Shout it from the rooftops. "Richie needs facts about Mayfield so he can write you a song for the next "Your Town Thursday" segment.
I get chastised a lot for my over abundance of exclamation points in my blogs. Yes, I do agree that I get over excited sometimes . Even in the title of this blog I used the dreaded piece of punctuation. Why? Because I want to emphasize that YOUR town could get a theme song next for free!! Whoops. I mean FREE. ( I did it again)
