I can't believe it!  I actually hope that you DIDN'T hear what happened this morning, (1/21)...

Maybe you have to be old enough to appreciate this , or maybe not, but don't you think that Andrew Cuomo is a Mario Cuomo Clone? (say that 3 times fast)

Anytime we get newly, elected officials in office, I don't know about you, but I always have a feeling of uncertainty.

I didn't get called for this poll.

I've been trying to think of some of the theme songs used in past political campaigns.  And I'm submitting one here for Andy.   I know that Bill Clinton made clever use of Fleetwood Mac's "Don't Stop Thinkin' About Tomorrow".  Obama used Stevie Wonder's "Signed, Sealed and Delivered" at some point...

This might not be the most complimentary way to say goodbye to our illustrious NY Governor, David Paterson, but I'm doing it anyway...

Along with a new year, we have a new governor, and other government officials.

Don't scream at me yet!   Not trying to take sides politically.  To me it matters not how you vote.  This is just a comment about the  issue in general.

I penned this dumb little ditty in 1997, right when the Barachster first started to gain national prominence.  In an unusually bold move, I decided to send this to his campaign headquarters.  We were hoping to get some kind of interview with him at the time, but to no avail. Ahh, you win some, you lose some.  Just like politics!
