I've been trying to think of some of the theme songs used in past political campaigns.  And I'm submitting one here for Andy.

I know that Bill Clinton made clever use of Fleetwood Mac's "Don't Stop Thinkin' About Tomorrow".  Obama used Stevie Wonder's "Signed, Sealed and Delivered" at some point.  (Nixon could have  used Miranda Lambert's "White Liar", 'cept  for one problem--she wasn't born yet!)  What should newly elected NY Governor Andrew Cuomo use?

Although my morning show brethren beg to differ, I have chosen the 1956 hit "Jim Dandy To The Rescue" (they find it too obscure, but I think it fits perfectly!)   The original hit can be found find in the movie "Overboard" with Goldie Hawn.  I learned that from a listener this morning!

The SONG's perfect, but the words need updating.  And that's my job here at the station!

(Special thanks to Casey Danton and Merideth McNeil for providing background shouts-whether they liked it or not, cuz I made them do it!)
