This has been another insane ride this week.   Trump was "on the stump"--the first male  of the season was bounced off of American Idol-- planes bouncing off each other in the  JFK parking lot.  But the big question is "will it rhyme?"  Lord knows I tried!

This week on "American Idol," two contestants were voted off.  55 million votes were cast for this week's tirbute, if you want to call it that, to Elton John.  As I predicted Naima Adedapo was one of those that was sent home.  She sang a reggae version of "I'm Still Standing."  My opinion, not good at all even if you knew what song she was trying to "make her own." The field is down to thirteen finalists.  Though last night was much better than last Wednesday night's performances, there were still more bad singers versus good singers -- in my opinion.

Over 40 million votes were cast between the performances of "American Idol," Tuesday and Wednesday night.  On Tuesday, the twelve male finalists sang a song of their choice while Wednesday, the twelve female finalists did the same.  Last night, was the biggest elimination round.
